Checkout

Hosted, embedded or headless.

Start with the hosted page and move to the embedded form or the headless API when you need more control. Card data is tokenized the same way in all three, so your PCI scope stays small whichever you pick.

  • Hosted page in your brand, on our domain or yours
  • Embedded form inside your page
  • Headless API for custom UIs
  • The same tokenization everywhere

Gateway API

A REST API you can read in one sitting.

Predictable resources, one way to create a payment and webhooks that tell you what happened. Sandbox keys arrive in 30 seconds, so building and testing never wait for a sales call.

  • Idempotent requests — retry without duplicates
  • Webhooks with signed payloads
  • Sandbox keys in 30 seconds
  • SDKs for Node, Python, Go, PHP, Ruby and Java

Smart routing

Smart routing. Automatic fallback.

Each payment takes the route most likely to be approved for that card, country and amount. When the first acquirer returns a soft decline, the gateway retries on a second route inside the same request.

  • Routes chosen per BIN, country and amount
  • Soft declines retried on a second acquirer
  • One request, one response — the customer never sees the retry
  • Routing rules you can read and override

Fraud & 3DS

Fraud and 3‑D Secure only when they help.

Every payment gets a risk score from device, velocity, BIN and address signals before authorization. Low-risk payments go straight through; a 3-D Secure challenge is added only when it raises the chance of approval or your rules require it.

  • Risk score on every payment, before authorization
  • 3-D Secure 2 with the frictionless flow by default
  • Rules you set: score thresholds, amounts, countries
  • Liability shift when a challenge is completed

Also in the gateway

The parts you notice later.

Smaller features that keep approval rates up and support tickets down.

  • Network tokens

Card numbers are replaced by network tokens, so payments keep working after a card is reissued and approval rates go up.

  • Account updater

Expired or replaced cards on file are refreshed with the networks before the next charge is attempted.

  • Installments

Offer installments where customers expect them — Brazil, Mexico and more — with the terms shown at checkout.

  • Multi-currency pricing

Show prices in the customer's currency and settle in yours, with one FX rate per payment and no surprises.

  • Webhooks

Signed events for every state change, with automatic retries and a replay button in the dashboard.

  • Idempotent API

Send an Idempotency-Key with any write and retry it safely without creating duplicate payments.

Questions

Questions about the gateway.

What is my PCI scope?
With the hosted page or the embedded form, card data goes from the customer's browser straight to the gateway and never touches your servers, which keeps you on the shortest self-assessment questionnaire (SAQ A). A headless integration that handles raw card numbers carries a larger scope; most teams tokenize on the client to avoid it.
Which payment methods are supported?
Cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex and local schemes), wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay, bank transfers and debits like SEPA, ACH and iDEAL, and local methods including Pix, Boleto, OXXO and UPI — 40+ in all. Availability depends on the country of your account and of your customer.
How does fallback routing work?
When the first acquirer returns a soft decline — do_not_honor or issuer unavailable, for example — the gateway retries the same authorization on a second route inside the same request. Declines a second route cannot fix are not sent to one: a stolen card is never retried, and insufficient funds is only retried later, on the retry schedule. Both attempts appear in the payment's events.
Does 3-D Secure cost extra?
No. 3-D Secure 2 is part of the rate we agree with you, never a separate line. The gateway uses the frictionless flow whenever the issuer allows it and only shows a challenge when your rules require one or when it raises the chance of approval.
How do I go live?
Sandbox keys are issued the moment you create an account. To go live, agree your rate with us, complete business verification in the dashboard (usually one to two business days) and swap your test key for a live one. Nothing else in your integration changes.
